Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund

Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 hurricane, made landfall on Jamaica's southwestern coast on October 28, 2025. With winds up to 185 MPH, torrential rainfall, and extensive flooding, the impacts are expected to be catastrophic. Multiple fatalities were reported prior to landfall, power has been lost, and homes and infrastructure will face devastating impacts. Multiple other Caribbean nations are also at risk as the storm moves through the region in the coming days. The following organizations have mobilized emergency response teams and committed critical resources to disaster relief efforts. Please note that the organizations included in this Fund are subject to change as we learn more about needs on the ground.

The American Friends of Jamaica's disaster relief fund provides support and resources to communities impacted by disaster across Jamaica.

World Central Kitchen, Inc.

World Central Kitchen mobilized teams to Jamaica to serve hot meals to those impacted by the hurricane.

Direct Relief

Direct Relief has committed to providing financial support and medical supplies to communities impacted by the hurricane.

Project HOPE - The People-to-People Health Foundation, Inc.

Project HOPE's emergency responses teams have deployed to Jamaica to provide critical humanitarian relief to those impacted by the hurricane.

Care

CARE is currently mobilizing to deliver critical relief resources including first aid kits, hygiene supplies, emergency food, clean water, water treatment kits, and shelter supplies to those impacted by the hurricane.
